UK first for Paul Riddel and Bobcat

The first Bobcat S630 skid steer loader in the Uk has been supplied to Horncastle, UK, based recycling company Paul Riddel Skips Ltd. Supplied by dealer AMS Bobcat, it is in use on the company's 2.2 acre site for sorting duties segregating waste, including C&D debris. The separated waste is then loaded into dedicated containers by a fleet of hydraulic excavators mounted with grabs and other attachments. The company recycles a wide range of materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and is a licensed asbestos removal specialist.

The S630 has an operating weight of 3,496 kg (1,691 lb,) has a rated operating capacity of 989 kg (2,176 lb) and a tipping load of 1,978 kg (4,352 lb). Power comes from a 55.4 kW (74.3 hp) Kubota V3307-DI-TE3 engine that is Tier 3/Stage IIIA compliant.
