UK-based plant hire equipment provider Murley Construction Equipment has agreed a site dumper supply agreement with R. Savage Plant Hire, which will see it add 1, 3, 6 and 9 tonne Terex site dumpers to its fleet.

The 14-unit contract – which will see Murley Construction Equipment’s current site dumper fleet replaced – will include two new TA9SP swivel-tip units featuring Start/Stop Control and Autoshift technology.

The dumpers will be manufactured at Terex Construction’s manufacturing facility in Coventry, UK, which is in the process of being sold to Groupe Mecalac.

Murley Construction Equipment said it planned to rent the machines to site professional across the UK. The company’s fleet also includes Doosan excavators, as well as wheeled loaders and telehandlers.

James Bird, area sales manager at Murley Construction Equipment, said, “Since joining the Terex global distributor network, we have worked in close partnership with the manufacturer’s Coventry team to provide our loyal customer base with the latest compact plant equipment and state-of-the-art on-site technology. This is just one of the resulting supply contracts.”

Meanwhile, Paul Savage, managing director at R. Savage Plant Hire, said, “This latest purchase of Terex site dumpers represents a significant investment for our company.

“We decided to choose Murley and Terex because we are confident in their ability to meet our expectations when it comes to part availability and servicing.”
