Crane and transport service provider Ulferts & Wittrock, based in Oldenburg, Germany, has taken delivery of several new Nooteboom specialized transport semi-trailers.

Included in the order were several new 6-axle Nooteboom extendible semi low-loaders and a Nooteboom 8-line MCO-PX semi low-loader with detachable multi-dolly.

The MCO-PX with 6 axle lines and Multidolly with 2 axle lines has a 12 tonne per axle line at 80km/h rating, a steering angle up to 70 degrees and a low dead weight, the manufacturer said. There is also an option to extend the load floor between the multi-dolly and the rear axles. In addition, the multi-dolly can be detached, turning the vehicle into a 6-axle extendible semi-low-loader, the manufacturer added.

Ulferts & Wittrock’s new MCO-PX has been purchased to transport the superstructure of the company’s Terex SL3800 and Demag CC 2800 cranes, a spokesperson added.

The new trailers join a fleet of 120 truck loading cranes and 40 vehicles for heavy transport and special transport.
