United Rentals has completed the acquisition of WesternOne Rentals & Sales LP in Western Canada for a cash price of US$90.4 million. The deal was first announced in late October this year.

The acquisition expands United Rentals’ operations in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba in Western Canada, and gives it a greater presence in the sports and entertainment market and also a propane and diesel fuel service.

“In addition, our regional penetration of the sports and entertainment vertical gives us new expertise to leverage for customers across North America. I’m pleased to welcome the WesternOne employees and customers to United Rentals.”
