United Rentals has completed the acquisition of WesternOne Rentals & Sales LP in Western Canada for a cash price of US$90.4 million. The deal was first announced in late October this year.

The acquisition expands United Rentals’ operations in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba in Western Canada, and gives it a greater presence in the sports and entertainment market and also a propane and diesel fuel service.
