United Rentals expands speciality network

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company, has expanded its speciality network with 10 new branches across North America.

The locations - eight in the USA and two in Canada - comprise pump, tool hire, power, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and trench safety businesses.

“The role of our speciality rental network continues to grow in importance within our companywide strategy for growth and profitability,” said Paul McDonnell, senior vice president.

“Throughout 2015, we will continue to expand our footprints for pump solutions, tool solutions, power and HVAC and trench safety to meet demand for these services.”

United Rentals’ revenue in 2014 was more than €3.3 billion and the company has almost 900 rental branches throughout Canada and the USA.
