United Rentals opens three new 'specialty' branches

United Rentals has opened three specialist power and temperature control rental locations in Washington State, North Carolina and Texas. The branches are located in Tacoma (Washington), Charlotte (NC), and Beaumont (TX).

Paul McDonnell, senior vice president - trench safety, power and HVAC, said, "Our growth strategy is shaped by the needs of our end markets, where we see increasing demand for temporary power and climate control equipment.

"Our expertise in these areas is an opportunity to strengthen our customer relationships beyond the range of general construction services."

United Rentals has a network of 549 rental locations in 48 states and 10 Canadian provinces.
