The MC285C-3 is an update of Maeda’s MC285C model

Japanese mini crane manufacturer Maeda has updated its MC285C spider crane model with the launch of the MC285C-3.

The MC285C-3 has a lifting capacity of 2.82 tonnes. It is powered via an EU Stage V compliant Yanmar diesel engine. The outriggers can be safely positioned at a number of angles, controlled by a moment limiter, the company said. A boom slewing limit can also be set. The new model also has a detachable electric motor, a flashing LED indicating the crane’s working status, stowable travel levers, and a new radio remote control from HBC-radiomatic with paddle-type controllers.
