US Battery has entered into partnership with Hong Kong-based distributor Modern Access to supply batteries for a variety of battery-powered lifts.

"There's been quite a bit of growth in the Asian market, and Modern Access is one of the leading distributors of equipment for the construction industry there," said Brad Dwan, US Battery's representative for the Asia market.

US Battery provided the AWP equipment dealer’s personnel with a programme of training seminars, conducted by Paul Harchik, who is based in US Battery’s regional office in Hong Kong.

The training programme provided information and maintenance techniques that can further extend battery life and performance on the company's equipment.

"The response was very positive, and they were very interested in learning about US Battery products and how they can help provide the highest amount of reliability and performance from their equipment,” added Mr. Dwan.

Modern Access has been serving the Hong Kong area since 1979. The distributor also operates depots in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
