US Markets Inc. (USM) has appointed a Great Lakes region account manager to its team. Alan Hunt, based in Nashville, is responsible for new and existing customer relationships in TN, KY, IN, IL, OH, MI, WI and Ontario, Canada. Hunt will be responsible for offering customers repair and reconditioning services, used equipment and re-rental solutions.

Hunt has more than 10 years of experience as a territory manager for several national rental chains, where he has sold both new and used equipment.

“Customer-service oriented, Alan is adept at assessing customer needs and delivering solutions that make sense for the client,” said Chad Cochrane, general manager.

Hunt has a broad knowledge of Genie, Skyjack and JLG products, as well as familiarity with many industrial and rough-terrain forklifts. USM boasts one of the largest fleets of Genie SX-180 booms in the world, as well as a wide variety of Genie, JLG and Skyjack telescopic booms, articulating booms, scissor lifts, and telescopic handlers.

In addition to re-rental, USM offers full- and partial-service reconditioning.

“We pride ourselves in the ability to customize our programs to fit any customer’s need or budget. Alan recognizes that reconditioning is a personal process that must meet the specific needs of the client,” said Cochrane.
