Vögele Vision series

Vögele, part of the Wirtgen Group, has launched four new pavers to cater specifically for the needs of the US market. The ‘Vision' series machines are available in 8 or 10 ft basic paving widths, as either tracked or wheeled units. The 10 ft machines are now in production, with the 8 ft models coming onto the market at the end of this year.

As well as having screeds designed for US-style thin layer, fast paving speed work, the machines have a range of options suited to American contractors, such as the choice of front or rear screed mounting.

The Vision machines also have a number of features carried over from Wirtgen's existing ‘Super' pavers for European and Asian markets. Electronic control systems automatically self-check the pavers on start-up, while diagnostic systems speed up troubleshooting. Meanwhile, the screeds feature automatic grade and slope control.

Around the operator station, Vögele has provided plenty of storage space for operators' possessions, such as lunch boxes and drinks. There is also storage space for sensors and cable.

As well as the US, Vögele is targeting Canada, Australia and New Zealand with the Vision range, countries where operators have similar preferences to the US.
