World: Manafort Brothers Incorporated is the world's largest demolition contractor according to iC's sister publication, Demolition &Recycling International (D&Ri).

The company was placed first in the magazine's league table of the world's top 100 demolition contractors, with annual sales of US$ 170 million. Seven places in the top 10 were taken by US contractors. Three places in the top 10 were taken by European companies, the largest of which was VBU, a German subsidiary of Vinci, with sales of US$ 67.2 million.

Total sales for the demolition contractors in the D&Ri-100 increased to more than US$ 2.4 billion last year, a +5% rise from 2003. Companies in the top 10 increased businesses by more than this average, with sales growth of just under +9%.
