Compact aerial lift distributor ReachMaster, located in Texas, USA, will start distributing German-made PB Lifttechnik scissor lifts in “late fall,” Ebbe Christensen, president of ReachMaster, told ALH.

“We are very excited about having these machines in the States,” he said while at the recent Bauma exhibition, April 15-20 in Munich, Germany.

ReachMaster will start by distributing three PB product lines – the Top 12, Top 16 and Top 19.

The Top 12 features a working height of 10.20 to 22.50 m (33.4 to 73.8 feet), has a platform capacity of 350 to 700 kg (771 to 1,543 pounds) and has an overall width of 1.20 m (3.93 feet). The Top 16 features an overall width of 1.6 m (5.24 feet), working height of 13 to 17.03 m (42.65 to 55.87 feet) and a platform capacity of 400 to 700 kg (881 to 1,543 pounds). Lastly, the Top 19 features working heights between 13 and 17.8 m (42.65 to 58.39 feet), an overall width of 1.9 m (6.2 feet) and platform capacities ranging from 500 to 750 kg (1,102 to 1,653 pounds).

The electric-powered scissors can “do all that diesel scissors can,” said Arne Dirckink-Holmfeld, PB Lifttechnik’s export manager.

ReachMaster currently is the distributor for Falcon, BlueLift and Winlet product lines.
