Croatian company Velebit has taken delivery of an 8-axle Doll semi low-loader type S8E-S2 (2+6) with 2-axle dolly.

The trailer has a payload of 96.5 tonnes, which can be increased by 10 % by mounting an additional 1-axle dolly behind the compensating gooseneck, the manufacturer said. The trailer is suitable for 3- or 4-axle trucks.

The trailer is fitted with hydraulic suspension and can be extended by 30 metres by mounting an extension girder. In addition, the fifth-wheel load can easily be changed hydraulically, a company spokesperson added. It has a total stroke of more than 400 mm and is fitted with CAN bus operating system.

Velebit will use the trailer to transport small and heavy goods, including transformers, concrete, bridge beams and construction machinery.
