On Vermeer's stand will be the new, 750 kg BC160XL brush chipper, designed for the European market, said the US company. The BC160XL has an in-feed opening of 16 cm x 22 cm and dual in-feed rollers. It is road towable and powered by a 21 kW, water-cooled Kohler diesel engine.

The machine features a folding in-feed table and discharge chute, and its turntable allows feeding the machine from all directions. Vermeer said the BC160XL's heavy-duty, 600 mm diameter cutter disc; hydraulic horizontal rollers; and Smartfeed system enable it to efficiently process material.
