Versalift on track in Germany

Deutsche Bahn (DB), the largest railway company in Europe, has bought two Versalift truck mounted platforms.
Versalifts sold by the German Versalift distributor Ruthmann. DB has taken delivery of two Versalift VT-145-F HD’s (heavy duty) mounted on 7.49 tonne GVW MAN trucks with double cabs and custom aluminium toolbox configurations on the chassis.
Equipped with a 200° articulating jib arm, FPC electro-hydraulic controls and non-extendable H-frame outriggers, the AWP has 14.3 m working height and up to 9.6 m outreach. The maximum platform capacity is 230 kg.
The Berlin-headquartered Company will use the units for rail bridge inspections across Germany.
