Brokk, the world’s leading manufacturer of remote-controlled demolition machines, has introduced the MC200 Multi Cutter to make its smaller models more versatile in steel cutting applications.

Made by Brokk’s sister company Darda, the attachment offers a high power-to-weight ratio and compact design. It also addresses the need for a lightweight, economical cutting tool in a variety of industries including demolition and nuclear.

The Multi Cutter is 102 cm (40 in) long and can be used on machines weighing 1.2 to 2.8 t (2,650 to 6,170 lb) including the Brokk 100, 120D and 160 models.

It is described as easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces such as building interiors.

It also features a hydraulic 360° rotary drive for exact positioning and a 200 mm (8 in) wide jaw opening. In addition, Darda designed the product so operators can sharpen the jaws rather than replace them.
