Video interview: America’s US$1.2 trillion infrastructure bill

Following the news that US President Joe Biden’s US$1.2 trillion infrastructure bill has been signed into law, Andy Brown editor of International Construction magazine, spoke to Peter Comstock, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) senior director of legislative affairs. 

With Biden saying the bill would deliver a “once in a generation investment” in the country’s infrastructure and US$550 billion set aside to upgrade highways, roads and bridges, and to modernise city transit systems and passenger rail networks, Comstock gives us more detail about the bill and its likely timescale.
