Video interview: Zeppelin Rental CEO Wolfgang Hahnenberg

In this video interview, International Rental News editor Helen Wright talks to Zeppelin Rental CEO Wolfgang Hahnenberg, who is also head of the company’s strategic business unit, about the strategy behind the company’s acquisition of the Streif Baulogistik rental business in March.
Zeppelin Group is Caterpillar’s dealer in Germany. The company is merging the Streif business with its Zeppelin Rental division. Mr Hahnenberg described the deal as “a big step forward” for the company.
The Streif operations were bought from contractor Hochtief, and Mr Hahnenberg added that this Scandinavian-style outsourcing deal “could be one of the drivers of the business model in Germany in the future.”
Also in this interview, Mr Hahnenberg gives a brief update on conditions in the German market, together with a forecast for next year.
Mr Hahnenberg spoke to IRN during the International Rental Exhibition, which took place from 24 to 26 June in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
