Volvo CE appoints new EMEA president

Carl Slotte has been appointed president of the EMEA (Europe – Middle East – Africa) sales region at Volvo Construction Equipment (CE), effective from October 1.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, including senior positions within Volvo CE’s global functions, the sales organisation and within the dealer network.
Previous leadership positions at Volvo CE include senior vice president for global key accounts, vice-president of hub north within sales region EMEA, and managing director of Volvo CE Russia.
Carl succeeds Tomas Kuta, who was appointed senior vice president of global sales for Volvo CE in June.
