Volvo CE appoints senior vp, technology

Patrik Lundblad has been appointed senior vice president, technology at Volvo Construction Equipment (CE). He takes up the role on November 1.

He has worked for the Volvo Group for 15 years in two spells, and was most recently senior vice president of Volvo Group Purchasing.

In his new role, reporting to president Martin Weissburg, he will be responsible for developing and delivering Volvo CE’s global technology strategy.

A Swedish national, Patrik holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, and an MBA from the Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law. He is fluent in English and German.
