W. Mayer buys Demag ATC

German transportation, logistics and crane services company W. Mayer has purchased a Demag AC 130-5 all-terrain crane from manufacturer Terex Cranes.

According to W. Mayer spokesperson Yannick Alt, who collected the crane along with his colleague Patrick Graul, “The AC 130-5 is more compact than any other crane in its class and offers good lifting capacities even with a small outrigger base. We often work on construction sites with limited space where it is important to adjust the outriggers. Here the IC-1 Plus control system is worth its weight in gold, as it allows high lifting capacities even with asymmetrically extended outriggers.”

W. Mayer is located in Zweibrücken, Germany, and so is the Terex Cranes’ Demag plant – which simplified collection of the new crane.
