Komatsu is launching a waste recycling version of its WA1000-6 wheeled loader.

Among Komatsu's Intermat launches will be a waste recycling version of its WA100M-6 wheeled loader. This 7 tonne machine carries a 1.8 m3 bucket as standard, but also features a hybrid Z-bar/parallel linkage front end that allows high payloads to be carried on pallet forks. A quick coupler and auxiliary hydraulic line mean a variety of attachments can be used with the machine, which also feature's Komatsu's KOMTRAX satellite monitoring system.

Specifically for the demolition sector, Komatsu will be showing its latest generation PC450HRD-8, which offers a vertical reach of 27 m (88.6 ft). Standard features include a tilting cab with a heated air suspension seat. This has an extra long backrest for excellent comfort, and the in cab noise for the operator is just 71 dB.

Undercarriage options include either mechanical or hydraulic extension from the 3 m transport width to 3.9 m for on-site stability. The boom meanwhile has a quick-change system that allows fast conversion between the high reach demolition boom and a standard earthmoving front end. KOMTRAX is standard.
