Bill Moore spent 25 years at Brandenburg Services in variety of roles and now works as a consultant with international remediation specialist ERM.

He says: “We are looking for new and  innovative techniques.

“For example, Ferrari of France using hydraulic jacks to push walls out to collapse buildings without explosives, and Priestly Demolition’s job where it rolled a huge bridge onto the river bank to cut it up.

“And of course Despe’s Top Down method of enclosing the floors undergoing demolition.

“There have been some serious accidents in the past couple of years in our industry so we also have to encourage all attendees at the WDS 2017 to follow best practice for the good of our industry.”
