Weber MT’s new walk-behind soil compactor the CR 9 has been designed to offer ease of operation, with an electro-hydraulic tip switch that allows easy shifting between forward and reverse travel.

Offering a centrifugal force of 100 kN and weighing almost 740 kg, the CR 9 offers little hand-arm vibration for operator comfort, while a fold-up guide bar can be adjusted to the operator’s height.

A centrifugal clutch with automatic tensioning function ensures safe operation, while the Hatz Diesel engine provides sufficient power reserves. All sides of the engine are protected from damage by a protective frame and a solid covering. However, components such as the air filter or oil dipstick can be easily reached via the maintenance cover.

The German manufacturer released the CR 9 for large-scale production this summer after unveiling it at Bauma 2013.
