Wilbert WT650 e.tronic flat top tower crane is now available in a 48 tonne capacity version

Tower crane manufacturer Wilbert has launched a 48 tonne capacity version of its WT650 e.tronic tower crane. It is 50% stronger than the 32 tonne version launched six years ago by the German manufacturer.

To handle the extra load, the crane has a stronger jib and a larger, stronger trolley. The 48 tonne version can be configured for 4 and 6 fall operation, while the 32 tonne version is either in 2 or 4 falls of rope.

The acceptance test of the 48 tonne WT 650 e.tronic was completed in December 2012 by safety inspection company DEKRA.
