Willis launches Rent-itGuard insurance policy

US-based insurance broker Willis Programs has introduced a new insurance plan for rental yards and the equipment rental industry called Rent-itGuard.

Through Rent-itGuard the New Hampshire firm will cover businesses engaged in the rental of equipment including light and heavy construction equipment, aerial lift platforms, equipment rental for homeowners, and party supply and special event rentals.

Coverage includes property/casualty, general liability, auto and specialty insurance coverage including inland marine, crime and umbrella. In addition to traditional theft coverage, Rent-itGuard offers extensions to include theft by fraud, deceit or conversion.

The Rent-itGuard policy is available through commercial insurance brokers throughout the US.
