Four Wolff tower cranes are working on the Médiacité shopping, recreation and media centre, in Liège, Belgium.

Three 7532.12/16 saddle jib cranes have been on site since the third quarter of 2008. The project started in 2007 and was extended this year (2009) to further develop the media centre.

The extended media centre will house the production and recording studios of RTBF, the nation's largest TV broadcaster, as well as a cinema.

Low operating costs and economical, modular slewing tower cranes are very much in demand, even in the quality-conscious Belgian market, explained Frédéric Van Hoorebeke, managing director of Wolffkran Belgium.
