World Demolition Awards entries begin to flow in

By Lindsay Gale09 June 2011

Entries for the 2011 World Demolition Awards have begun to arrive at the D&Ri editorial office, two months ahead of the closing date of Friday 29 July. The very first entry to be received this year came from Mexican company Soluciones Tecnicas y profesionales A DRA S.A. de C.V. and covered the work carried out during the demolition of two bridges, the Malecón and Mirador, over the Cuyutlan lagoon, an environmentally sensitive location, requiring specific care to be taken.

The closing date for the Awards is final, and no entries will be accepted after the 29 July, so make sure you your own entries to Lindsay Gale (lindsay.gale@khl.com) at D&Ri in adequate time. Entry forms and guidance concerning making entries are available at www.demolitionsummit.com. If you have any questions concerning the 2011 World Demolition Awards, contact Lindsay on +44 (0)1892 786210 or by email.
