It follows the World Demolition Summit earlier in the day, which is taking place in North America for the first time since it was launched in 2009. Demolition & Recycling International magazine is organising the event in co-operation with the National Demolition Association, with the support of the European Demolition Association. The headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment.

As well as honouring the best entries in the shortlisted categories, the Awards dinner will include a special presentation to the overall World Demolition Award winner, which the judges will choose as the best of the winning submissions.
