Rickard Holmlund, along with colleague Pia Ringdahl, is about to acquire full ownership of Zip-Up Svenska, Snorkel's (UpRight's) distributor in Sweden.

They are buying out Zip-Up's three major shareholders, including Lennart Mattsson, who is retiring after 29 years. Mr Mattsson and fellow investors Roland Holmlund and Anders Lotsengård are cutting their day-to-day ties with the business.

Mr Mattsson joined Zip-Up in 1982, working with the company's founder, Peter Frisk, until his retirement in 1997, when Mr Matsson assumed control of the business. He is stepping down from daily operational activities at the end of June, but will remain on hand, to advise and support Ms Ringdahl and Mr Holmlund.

Mr Holmlund said: "With financing solved and Pia and Rickard in charge, I am very confident that Zip-Up will continue its journey that started in 1978."

Ms Ringdahl has worked at Zip-Up for 26 years and Mr Holmlund has been involved for 14 years. They completed the acquisition on May 1st.

"This really gives Zip-Up a great opportunity to continue the aims to be the best supplier to the Swedish rental companies," said Mr Holmlud
