Terex sees US$ 75 million loss as sales fall -45%
Terex had a net loss of US $ 75 million for the first quarter of 2009, compared to a net profit of US$ 163 million for the first quarter of 2008. Sales were US$ 1.30 billion, a decrease of -45% from US$ 2.36 billion in the first quarter of 2008.

Vermeer's new compact chipper for Europe
On Vermeer's stand will be the new, 750 kg BC160XL brush chipper, designed for the European market, said the US company. The BC160XL has an in-feed opening of 16 cm x 22 cm and dual in-feed rollers. It is road towable and powered by a 21 kW, water-cooled Kohler diesel engine.
TABE's four new breakers
At Intermat will be the latest additions - the AGB-10 and AGB-18 - to TABE's heavy-duty hammer range. Joining the AGB-15 are the 950 kg AGB-10, which is suitable for excavators weighing from 10 to 16 t, and the 1850 kg AGB-18, which is for 24 to 28 t machines. Both new breakers feature TABE's coupling system that eliminates tie rods, which prevents breakages and breakdowns, said the Spanish company.
Bergmann adds compact dumpers
Bergmann is showing two, new 9000 kg capacity dumpers, the 2090 and 3009. They fill the gap between the German company's 6000 kg payload 2060 model and the 12000 kg capacity 3012, launched at Bauma 2007.
Cramo bond issue raises €50m
Cramo is raising €50 million by issuing ‘hybrid capital bonds’, with the funds being used to reduce its interest-bearing debt. The bonds have been bought by Finnish investors, said the company on 15 April.
