Two Geda Multilift P22 personnel and material lifts are being used for Copenhagen’s airport during renovation and expansion work.

Kastrup Airport is located 8km to the south of the Danish capital and with annual passenger numbers exceeding 21.5m, is the biggest airport in southern Scandinavia. It covers 11.8 km² and is divided into five areas – north, south, east, west and an apron.

The three passenger terminals, undergoing extensive renovation and expansion work, are located at the north of the Airport. To provide smooth and efficient onsite transportation of people and materials, rental company Hejs.dk supplied two P22’s, launched at Bauma 2013.

The patented flat cable system of the P22 is designed for fast transportation of 2000kg or 22 people to a height of 200m. A particular feature is the Geda Vario-Mast, enabling a free mast projection of 7.5m. Furthermore, the mast tie distance can be increased to 12m.
