Bartell Morrison, the US manufacturer of concrete finishing equipment, is to exclusively distribute TowerLight’s lighting towers in North America.

The two companies have been discussing a potential partnership for several months and Bartell showed one of the Italian-made lighting towers at this year’s Rental Show to test the market.

Jeff Durgin, president of Bartell Morrison USA, said; “TowerLight has put together the best combination of features and quality in the industry. The light tower market has become very competitive, and we chose a partner that can bring more than just a low price.

“Certain TowerLight models can offer four to eight times the fuel efficiency of common units in the field. The time is now that we should all be looking at lowering fuel consumption and reducing our carbon footprint.”

Based in Villanova d’Ardenghi, Italy, and founded in 1996, TowerLight manufactures a wide range of lighting tower products. In addition to conventional diesel powered towers, the company makes a tower with a hybrid battery/diesel power source.

It also produces security towers (with CCTV and WiFi systems) and dust suppression equipment for the demolition sector.
