Caterpillar is expanding its compact loader facility in Sanford, North Carolina, with the addition of a 270000 ft2 building for logistics and robotic welding fabrication technology. Cat said the facility will allow it to meet growing worldwide demand for skid steer, compact track and multi-terrain loaders.

Compact equipment specialist Bobcat has announced the launch of the new S650 skid steer loader as well as four new rotary telehandlers.

Xtreme introduces four new telehandlers - the XR630, XR621 low pivot, XR2050 and XR3034 - at the 2010 World of Concrete exhibition in Las Vegas.

The new S330 skid steer from Bobcat is intended to meet the demand for greater lift capacity and increased power. The new machine weighs in at 4.2 tonnes and has a rated capacity of 1.5 tonnes
