Three engineering firms to assess Netherlands’ bridges and viaducts

Engineering firms Arup, Iv Group and Wagemaker will reassess bridges and viaducts across the Netherlands under a new framework deal.
The work for the Dutch authority in charge of public works and water management, Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) will engage the companies in the framework to asses around 100 steel, moveable, and concrete bridges over the next six years.
The work is to ensure the bridges’ structural safety and operational lifespan.
