Blüggel Terex job video

20 January 2015

Crane service provider Blüggel, based in Eslohe, Germany, has used its new Terex Explorer 5600 for the first time to help relocate a footbridge that crosses the Ruhr in Olsberg for German construction company Eickmann. Once ground bearing preparations were carried out, the crane was configured with a main boom of 33.4 metres and 46 tonnes of counterweight, ready to carry out the job. The bridge measured 29 metres long and weighed 17 tonnes. It was lifted at a radius of 20 metres and loaded onto a heavy haulage vehicle, before being moved to its new location further along the river. The 5600 then lifted the bridge from the trailer onto concrete piles at the new location. For the full story see http://bit.ly/180sAcZ
