Dragon crushers continuing to gain in popularity

Jeff Haines, Owner and Director of Dragon Equipment, has revealed that the company’s compact crushers are continuing to gain in popularity, with the OEM seeing sales of it’s most recent models - the CR400 and CR450 steadily rising.

Speaking with D&Ri at Intermat 2024 in Paris, France, Jeff said that interest in the machines from demolition and construction companies had been rising significantly over the past year.

Indeed Dragon Equipment, which this year launched the CR450 compact crusher and, last year, the CR400, has big plans for expanding the crushing equipment range, with a further two machines expected to be released within the next couple of years.

For now however, sales of the company’s existing machine models are rising steadily, with the CR400 proving to be among most popular.

Described as a more powerful and quicker version that its predecessor the CR300 Crusher, the CR400 machine is powered by a Vanguard EFI 23HP V-Twin petrol engine with a 33L fuel tank.

It is said to be easily transportable due to its multiple tie-down and twin lifting points coupled with width of 800mm and weight of under 1,200Kg. Its conveyor is suitable for maximum discharge height of 1,060mm.
