ERA promotes TCO Calculator with videos

The European Rental Association (ERA) has produced two short videos to promote its total cost of ownership calculator (ERA Equipment TCO Calculator), with the aim of bringing the benefits of rental to a wider audience.
One is a longer version that provides an overview of the benefits of the calculator and how it works, for embedding in websites, while the other is a short 15 second video aimed at social media.
The calculator, developed by the ERA for free use, allows buyers and users of equipment to calculate the total cost of ownership of a number of different ‘standard’ machines – general construction equipment, wheeled loader (>15 tonnes), tracked loader (>15 tonnes), wheeled excavator (>15 tonnes) and crawler excavator (>15 tonnes).
The calculator also allows users to compare different ownership models: buying, renting, operating leasing and financial leasing.
