We’ve all heard the stories... The stories that start with: ‘When I was your age’ or ‘I remember when we used to’, or ‘Well, in my day‘, and that ended with ‘those were the days...’ 

In this remarkable archive footage from 1948, ‘demolition squads’ in Sydney, Australia, work to take down a number of multi-storey, industrial brick chimneys.
