Lusail Iconic Stadium

The new Lusail Iconic Stadium is the centre piece to Qatar’s 2022 World Cup bid. According to the architect, as the venue for Qatar’s 2022 World Cup bid, the stadium will provide a “world-class” football facility for 86250 spectators during the opening ceremony, group games and final and has been designed to reflect Doha’s culture and heritage. It is also “highly energy efficient” and capable of performing in the country’s “extreme summer climatic conditions”.
