Watch new NDA President James Milburn’s WDS 2020 presentation

Congratulations to James Milburn on his appointment as president of the US National Demolition Association (NDA).
James assumed the role last month at the NDA’s Demolition Phoenix event in Arizona, and D&Ri was there to hear the first words of his term in office.
Our video shows James, in his role as managing principal of contractor Milburn Demolition, speaking at the World Demolition Summit, organised by Demolition & Recycling International in cooperation with the NDA and the European Demolition Association, with the headline sponsorship of Volvo Construction Equipment.
The year is 2020, when - for the only time so far - the conference and awards were held online after Covid-19 restrictions made an in-person event impossible.
After an introduction by the event host Alex Taylor, James goes on to describe how Milburn Demolition tackled the Oakmont Point commerical office project in its home state of Illinois, on behalf of general contractor Ryan Companies.
For clarity, Alex Taylor’s question “are you ever going to get a president” near the end of the video refers to the protracted conclusion to the 2020 Trump-Biden contest, and is nothing to do with the presidency of the NDA.
