Korean manufacturer JUNJINCSM Co Ltd has received an $8.7 million order from the KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) to manufacture 102 electrically insulated, truck-mounted aerial work platforms.

The JUNJINCSM SI-150AE truck-mounted aerial work platforms are on 3.5 t chassis and have three section telescopic booms with an insulated third boom and bucket for working in a live line environment. Dielectric testing intervals and field inspection is compliant with the ANSI A92.2-1990 standard.

The SI-150AE is equipped with outriggers and an AML (auto moment limit) system will automatically prevent the machines being operated where the machine is unstable.

Jae-hwan Lee, chief executive officer of JUNJINCSM, said, "JUNJINCSM has grown into a global company by working with our customers in every country and region of the world and in 2011, we have a plan to launch a new model that is equipped with environmentally friendly battery power systems designed to offer a significant benefit to our customers."

JUNJINCSM also manufactures a range of self-propelled telescopic booms, crawler drills, mobile cranes and other special purpose machines.
