Klimer Platforms Inc. of Ontario announced it acquired Valco Scaffold of Ohio in mid-2011. Valco had previously been a distributor for Klimer's mast climbing work platforms. Valco now operates under the name of Klimer Platforms, Inc. with its Ohio and North Carolina locations operating at full capacity. Key management and staff have remained the same.

Valco continues to sell and support existing product lines with the addition of a full range of Klimer mast climbing and transport platform products.

"Our focus has always been to provide the most efficient access equipment and job site support," said Jay Gordon, president of Klimer Platforms. "This alliance allows us to be even more effective in delivering these benefits to our clients."

Ray Valentine, of Valco Scaffold added, "We have had a long, successful business relationship and friendship with Klimer, and this purchase will make a stronger mast climber company. We intend to offer the same high level of service and expand the mast climber, material platform business to better service our customers."
