UK-based equipment supplier Hi-Reach Access is now offering a dedicated training course to operators of large, self-propelled boom lifts.

The Hi-Reach 100+ course was created in response to user requests for more information on the operation and characteristics of larger machines, said the company. The new training programme concentrates on features specific to the 100 ft (30 m) + sector of telescopic and articulating boom lifts.

In addition to classroom-based training, the half-day Hi-Reach 100+ course also includes practical work using a boom lift.

The course is suitable for all holders of IPAF 3b (self-propelled boom lift) licence category. An operator card and certificate will be presented to all attendees on completion of the course.
