ALLMI issues guidance on remote controls

The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers (ALLMI) in the UK has issued important safety information as part of a campaign on the safe use of remote controls throughout the industry.

The awareness campaign, which follows a safety alert issued by the association, includes a web-based video, a leaflet aimed at operators and their immediate supervisors and a ready-made toolbox talks template for use by supervisors and managers, a company spokesperson said.
