A new XCMG XGTT200 (6022-12) flat top tower crane has been put to work on a development project in Harmoni Central Buyway in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The model is the 50th XCMG tower crane to be delivered to Indonesia since February 2013, a company spokesperson said. In addition to the XGTT200, an XCMG QTZ200 flat-head tower crane has also been put to work on the project.

Djoko Pahing, project principal at the Harmoni, said, “In the construction site, there is only a narrow space for us to store tower crane components and to fix the truck crane. Regardless of the harsh circumstance, XGTT200 gives full swing to its strong points.

“Since the flat top tower crane’s boom can be mounted in sections, unlike the sharp-top tower crane that shall be hoisted and mounted after mounting of all the boom sections, the XGTT200 saves much floor space, and leaves space for the truck crane. It only costs us three days to complete the process from the initial mounting to final debugging and jacking. I am very satisfied with it!”

To provide customer service and spare parts, XCMG has dispatched technicians to stay in Jakarta for the duration of the project.
