The Port of Berwick, based on the east coast of the North Sea, UK, has taken delivery of a new Sennebogen 835 R Special to help unload ships.

The model has a 3 metre pipe-pylon and an elevating cab, which allows the model to unload ships at any tidal height. It has a 3 m height-adjustable Maxcab, all-round armoured glass and a floor window. For port implementation, the 835 was filled with bio-oil in the factory. It also has a special lacquer coating to protect the metal parts from the saline sea air.

The model will be used to unload up to 1,500 tonnes of material on a daily basis, including agricultural materials, fertilizer, feed, cement and timber. It was delivered by Sennebogen port sales and service partner, E H Hassell and Sons.
