Wagner Equipment chooses Infor

Regional Caterpillar dealer and equipment rental company, Wagner Equipment Co., has chosen Infor M3 Equipment and Infor Implementation Accelerator for Equipment Rental from Infor, a cloud company. The Infor solution is geared toward streamlining Wagner’s rental fleet processes.

As a regional dealer of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery serving Colorado, New Mexico and West Texas, Wagner says it aims to strengthen the visibility into fleet management and provide automated processes for rental coordinators. Wagner also sought to equip rental coordinators with a solution that utilized a more modern look and feel, which will help to increase productivity and enhance customer service, Infor said. “Infor's approach is focused on providing the end-user with a beautiful interface that has a clean and unified appearance. This will, in turn, help reduce the amount of administrative tasks and paperwork for rental coordinators, allowing them to focus on servicing the customer with greater efficiency,” Infor said in a statement.

By selecting Infor, the organization hopes to simplify process efficiencies through automation and improve reporting by delivering better access to rental coordinators. Wagner is a member of the Infor - CAT Dealer Advisory Council.

At the core of the offering is Infor M3, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that will provide Wagner with applications to support the unique needs of its business model.

Wagner will also gain access to Infor Ming.le, a collaborative social platform, and Infor ION, a purpose-built middleware. Wagner has opted to deploy the solution using the Infor Implementation Accelerator for Equipment Rental, which delivers scalability and agility that is specifically for rental-centric customers. The implementation accelerator provides pre-built, industry leading processes that support the goals of the organization and enable a faster return on investment.
