CNH has recorded revenues of US$ 5.372 billion (€ 4.64 billion) for the first quarter of 2016 – a decrease of 9.9% compared with the same period a year ago.

Meanwhile, Case, the company’s construction arm, reported first quarter revenues of US$ 536 million (€ 562.65 million), which represents a fall of 8.1% compared with the first quarter in 2015.

Case’s operating profit was US$ 14 million (€12.08 million), which is a US$ 14 million (€12.08 million) rise on last year, when the company recorded blank profits for the quarter.

Case’s operating profit increased as a result of improved margins in North America and Asia Pacific, which outweighed the negative effects of challenging trading conditions in Latin America.
