Heavy lift and transport service provider Wagenborg has expanded its crane fleet with a second Tadano ATF 400G-6 all terrain.

It has a lattice jib and a 3.5 metre heavy duty jib, extending the 60 m main boom to reach 78.5 m.

The first ATF 400G-6 has a hydraulic telescopic luffing jib (HTLJ) and the new crane can also have this jib. The HTLJ makes it possible to, among other things, lift objects from great heights from within buildings, the company said.

The second 400 tonne mobile crane is fitted with a travelling restraint access module (TRAM) fall restraint system. This is a flexible system, moving back and forward along a rail installed along the length of the main boom. The user can be secured to the foldable handle and the TRAM system prevents the user from falling, the company said.

During the last weekend of April, the latest crane was put to work lifting and positioning a temporary bus bridge in Gröningen, Netherlands.
